Sealing Method

Specify the sealing method. Standard packing tape may be sufficient for pallet shipping, but parcel shipping puts more stress on carton seams. Ask whether the supplier uses reinforced tape, H-seal (tape on all seams), or strapping in addition to tape. Tape failure can result in a carton that opens in transit — and missing parts that cannot be recovered.
